Twitter Rolls Out it’s First Paid Subscription Service


Twitter has introduced its first ever premium subscription service ‘Twitter Blue’ in Australia and Canada. This release is the first iteration of the rollout. 

Starting today, you have to pay $3.49 CAD or $ 4.49 AUD, a monthly price of the paid features. 

Not to worry, the free version is still intact and will always be intact, as explained by Twitter. 

As per Twitter, they released this service to cater to users who expect more features. This service includes exclusive features and perks that will take subscribers’ experience to the next level.  

As per Twitter, this premium service plans to make the Twitter experience more customized, more expressive, and better in every way.

The new features that make Blue Twitter notable are:

Bookmark Folders: You can organize your saved content in folders based on different categories. This efficient content management system of saving your bookmarks makes it easy to find content when you need it. This feature clears the clutter.

Undo Tweet: It is common for people to regret their tweet or find mistakes in their tweet like typos, commas, etc. It can be anything. This feature lets you preview and revise your post before it goes live. You can set up to 30secs to click ‘Undo’ before you Tweet, reply, or thread gets visible to the public.

Users can see the undo button on all their original tweets by default. In case you are sure about your tweet, you can directly click 

‘Send Now.’

Currently, the Undo feature is only available on the iOS app.

Reader mode:

Get a seamless experience of reading by turning your long threads into easy-to-read text. Now you can read all your long threads like you are reading an article. Experience this mode by clicking on the book icon in the top right corner.

Perks:

The subscribers of paid features get the perk of personalizing their app. They can customize app icons for their device’s home screen and use fun color themes for their Twitter app. The essential service that subscribers will get is dedicated subscription customer support.
